I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.”

There are many that believe that you can lose your salvation, once it has been ask for, given, and received… This causes many to doubt whether they are saved because of whatever sin they may have already committed, or that they are currently trapped in, or that they may commit in the future…
No. You cannot lose your salvation, once you have accepted it as the free gift that it is. These scriptures guarantee us that:
John 10: 28-29:
28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.
29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.
1 John 5:13:
13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.
John 3:16-18:
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
Hebrews 13:5:
5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,
“Never will I leave you;
Never will I forsake you.”
Romans 5:15
15 But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!
Romans 6:23
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The above scriptures prove that salvation cannot be lost and that it is a Free GIFT, given by the Grace of God…
Furthermore, by its simple declaration, it proves that it cannot be bought or earned or worked for or traded for…
If something is purchased or bought by one person, and given to another, does the person receiving the gift have the obligation to reimburse the giver???
Or, does the receiver of the gift assume the debt incurred by the purchase of the giver???
Or, must the recipient of the gift pay – again – for that which has already been paid for by the giver???
Does the receiver forfeit ownership of the gift, simply because it was bought by someone else???
OF COURSE NOT!!!
Well for Christians, Jesus Paid it All; He paid the price for all sin, for all time… and all we have to do is accept the gift He has already purchased and now offers to us…
We do not have to work for it, we do not have to make interest payments, we do not have to DO ANYTHING except enjoy a gift that is paid for in full.
Romans 10: 9-10 states, very clearly:
9 that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
When your heart is lined up with the words you speak… when your desire is to have Jesus be your Lord and Savior and you declare him as such, while believing in the resurrection for the forgiveness of sin, the righteousness of Jesus is extended to you because of your belief…
Genesis 15:6 declares:
6 Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness.
Accept God and Believe. That really is all there is to it… Confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior and believe that God raised Him from the dead… there is nothing else to be done.
That’s really all there is to it… Confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior and believe that God raised Him from the dead… And that, my friend, is Very Good News…
The bad news, however, is that all sin must be paid for…
The debt is real and must be paid.
Every individual must either pay their own sin-debt by an eternity in Hell, or accept that Jesus has paid our debt in full…
But let me ask you something that may help you focus on the correct context of this devotional:
Will the bank accept payment of your debt from someone else? Of course they will: All that matter is that the debt is paid, yes???
Well, Jesus has written a check for every individual in the whole world… He has endorsed it, and all we must do is cash it in…
THAT, my friend is Fantastic News!!! That is why the Word of God is called the Good News!!!
And it’s really even better than that: Once we cash it in, we own the Gift of Salvation forever and ever and ever, and none can take it from us!!!
Encouraging… yes???
The previously cited scriptures promise and guarantee that, once saved, God declares:
NEVER will I leave you, NEVER will I forsake you..
I give them eternal life…
I write these things that you may know that you have eternal life…
For God so Loved the world that whosoever believes shall have eternal life…
God did not Send His Son into the world to condemn but to save…
Does any of those Promises of God sound like you can loose your Salvation??? No. They Do Not and You Cannot.
Remember: God cannot Lie (Hebrews 6:18).
So, if you are already a Christian, be encouraged and know in your mind, your heart, and in your soul that you are saved and that you cannot lose your salvation…
If you are NOT yet saved, however, simply pray this prayer and invite Christ to be your Lord and Savior:
Oh God, I am a sinner, just as everyone else is, but I now confess Jesus as my Lord and I believe that you raised him from the Dead to defeat sin and death and save all who would simply believe.
Please send the Holy Spirit to teach me, guide me, and call to remembrance all that Jesus said, as You promised in John 14:26.
If you prayed that prayer, your name has been written into the Lamb’s Book of Life, and it cannot and will not be removed. Not ever.
You now are guaranteed eternal life in the Presence of God and all that is good.
You have not only asked for and received salvation, but you have also asked God to teach you and help you remember scripture…
And if you still have a nagging bit of doubt as to whether you are able to believe unto Salvation, please pray the prayer of the father of the boy who was possessed — the father who wanted, desperately to believe, but feared that what belief he had would be insufficient…
Mark 9:22-25
22 “It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.”
23 “‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”
24 Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”
25 When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the impure spirit. “You deaf and mute spirit,” he said, “I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.”
So, You See? Jesus Helped the Man – who earnestly asked – with his unbelief and rewarded his sincerity with the desired answer to his request. He will do the same for you.
Congratulations to all who have become Christian. But to all who have not: Please do so, that we may, together – with those that have gone before us – spend eternity in the very dwelling place of Love and those that know how to, and do, love each other…
Oh, What a Wonderful World that Will Be!!!
May God Bless & Keep You & Yours, Always!!!!!
